  1. I can relate to this in so many ways. I have been the manufacturer on software side, have been the customer, have been the VAR and now the manufacturer on the hardware/software side. The observations are spot on and the advice is solid.
  2. Vendor path and your business path are different. Buy what you want and what you need, and don't buy what vendor wants to sell you for problems you don't have.
