Doodling on a Napkin

Two more books you must read during your summer vacation: The Back of the Napkin and Unfolding the Napkin ... and here are a few drawing tools that work for me.

If you’re anything like me, your first results will be disastrous. Keep practicing; I’m able to draw understandable (if not pretty) diagrams by now (and I’m still trying to stay away from Pictionary).

  1. Funny - that book (The Back of the Napkin) is sitting on my desk to be read, right after I finish the latest Dan Brown novel. Thanks for the motivation!
  2. I'd love to read both (as well as his third book "blah blah blah"), but like everyone else, time is finite and of limited quantity these days. If you were to recommend one, which would it be? I'm most interested in how to create effective drawings versus needing to be sold on why drawings are effective. Any thoughts would be appreciated in this context. Thank you.
