Like with the Next-Generation Data Center course, the live sessions in the Building Network Automation Solutions course include guest speakers, Q&A discussions, and solutions to sample challenges that you’ll be able to use to complete your homework assignments.
The guest speakers for the January 2016 course include:
- Elisa Jasinska did a great job describing network automation conceptual models and services in the orchestration session of the data center course, so I asked her to open the network automation course with an overview of how to get started and what to focus on.
- Scott Lowe started his transition from infrastructure engineer into a full-stack engineer half a decade ago and will share the lessons learned on his journey during the Easy Wins part of the course.
- David Barroso, co-author of NAPALM and SDN Internet Router, and network automation guru, will describe how to use NAPALM to create a vendor-independent network automation solution similar to those he used at Spotify and now at Fastly.
