It’s time for the next Data Center Fabrics Update session, and so I spent the whole Friday poring over Arista’s data sheets and EOS documentation. As expected, they launched numerous switches in the last year, and added a bunch of new features to EOS. I'll explain some of those in more details:
- LACP fallback;
- OpenStack integration;
- Monitor mode in OpenFlow;
- DirectFlow (OpenFlow functionality configured through REST API);
- IP-in-IP tunneling (head-end for direct-server-return load balancing)
Interested? See you in a few weeks!
Do I have to mention that you get access to all materials of all previous sessions the moment you register?
